2008 Blue and White Gala

The 2008 Blue and White Gala was held on Saturday, April 19th in the Trueman Fieldhouse and once again the event was embraced by the Benedictine community.  Over three hundred and twenty alumni and friends of Benedictine attended the Gala this year.   Proceeds from this annual event are exclusively used to provide tuition assistance to the “Men of Benedictine.”  In addition to our guests, more than one hundred parent and student volunteers participated in the event, making this a night to remember.  With the help of everyone present, the Gala delivered another successful outcome!  We cannot begin to thank everyone enough for making this a special evening!  The loyal support provided by Alumni, friends, sponsors and volunteers confirms the reason we are called “The Home of Champions.”  As our partners, we will continue to change the lives of our students, so they may change the world.

This year, Gala revenues exceeded our projected goal!  For some of our students, financial assistance provided by the proceeds from the Gala are the only means by which they can obtain a Benedictine education.  To lose just one of these deserving young men would be to weaken the Benedictine community.  Please know that the efforts of everyone involved in this event make a tremendous difference in the lives of our young men.  Words alone cannot express the gratitude we possess to all who have helped advance the mission of Benedictine High School.  Thank you so much!
