Demographics

Our students come from all corners of Northeast Ohio. From the far western suburbs of Cuyahoga County to the far eastern suburbs in Lake and Geauga County. From virtually every neighborhood of Cleveland. From the south, including Portage and Medina Counties, young men come to Benedictine from nearly 140 grade schools for four of the most important years of their lives.
They come to be shaped by the Tradition, the Community, the Service and the Discipline of Benedictine. They come to help make their mark in the school's rich history.
Benedictine's enrollment is over 400 students strong, with an average class size of 18 and a students-to-teacher ratio of 11/1. Nearly 100% of our graduates go on to college earning an average of over $5 million in scholarships, grants and financial aid. The Class of 2006 boasts five National Merit Scholars, $5.7 million earned and an impressive list of university selections including the University of Notre Dame, Northwestern University, Duquesne University and appointments at West Point and the Air Force Academy. The Class of 2007 also came in at nearly $6 million awarded in scholarship, grant and aid.
